A Scottish tennis club is to benefit from new tennis court fencing as part of new redevelopment work.

Helensburgh tennis club, in Dunbartonshire, Scotland, is undergoing resurfacing work on its number six and number seven tennis courts and will see new tennis court fencing erected around the perimeter of the courts, according to the Lennox Herald.

The work is expected to be completed this week, as sand is set onto the two courts, that feature synthetic grass.

Ian Parlane, grounds man at the club, told the news provider he hopes a spell of good weather will keep the courts dry and speed up the work.

The improvements come at a positive time for the club – its ladies third team recently won the division 4B title.
