A security centre in Shrewsbury urgently needs to update access control measures in a bid to reduce the risk of crime.
G4S is in desperate need of a high security fence and security bollards to guard against the risk of robbery, the Shropshire Star has reported.
There have been a string of attempted robberies and ram raids at the site, causing real security concerns.
And the company feels that steel fencing and crash barriers would be the best devices with which to combat crime.
Stacy Williams, head of property for the firm, told the news provider: "This is unfortunately now critical to G4S as a business in order to deter and prevent the serious threat of ram raid attacks, four of which have been recently carried out on G4S branches."
An application has been made to the local council to erect a security fence and install crash barriers, the news provider said.
Just this month a similar plan was put in place at a park in Australia, where security bollards were erected to prevent cars driving onto the site.
