Play area fencing will be part of a new £100,000 multi-purpose facility in Lincolnshire.
According to epworthbells.co.uk, the installation of security fencing forms the first stage of the major development that will serve residents in Garthorpe and Fockerby.
Due to open next summer, the site will offer a tennis court and football pitch alongside a walking trail and an allotment. State of the art equipment will also be on hand.
The development is the result of years of fundraising and raising awareness by the Parish Councils of the two Lincolnshire towns.
Fockerby Parish clerk Carol Gilleard told the news provider the facility would be a massive boost to the area.
"There will be benches, signage and the play equipment and it's all got to be completed by next June, I am confident we will achieve that target.
"This will give us something we have never had and hopefully we can start having our annual village fete again and bring in people from outside the villages," she said.
A tennis club in Scotland recently benefitted from tennis court fencing after an upgrade.
