Plans for a new stadium development at football club Tottenham Hotspur should include security fencing and other measures, it has been claimed.
According to the Tottenham Journal, there are security concerns from the police and conservation groups over the proposal at White Hart Lane.
Chris Barclay, acting borough commander for Haringey police, has written a detailed letter laying out security concerns.
According to the news provider Mr Barclay has requested a "solid high fence" so that fans don't circulate onto nearby Worcester Avenue from the northern end of the stadia.
Security fencing at the visitors' entrance, traffic barriers and CCTV should also be part of the development, Mr Barclay said.
English Heritage has also criticised the plans.
Haringey Council is set to make a decision in the coming months over the plans, which will see a 56,000-seater stadium, a hotel, flats and a supermarket.
According to goal.com, the club will find out on September 13th if the plan will go ahead.
