Police in Halesowen have identified a number of anti-social behaviour hotspots in the region, which they claim they will make a top priority in the coming months.
Following a series of Police and Communities Together meetings, the Neighbourhood Policing Teams have outlined a strategy to clamp down on threatening behaviour and petty vandalism - some of which has been directed at high security fencing in the region, reports the Halesowen News.
Speaking to the news provider, Sergeant Wendy Taylor from the Halesowen South Neighbourhood Team said: "We have received many complaints of youths congregating in residents driveways.
"Residents have described young people underage drinking, shouting abuse, spraying graffiti on garage doors and causing criminal damage to fencing."
She claimed that officers would step up patrols and confiscate any alcohol from underage drinkers.
Residents of Ravensthorpe recently called on their local council to erect security fencing as a means of tackling anti-social behaviour, stated the Dewsbury Reporter.
