Long before the phrase 'The answer is yes, now what's the question' was popularised in advertising, it was in everyday use at Jacksons in response to Customers looking for advice and solutions to the most complex problems.
And while we can make our standard products available quickly and cost effectively, we also relish the challenge of new and difficult projects that lean on our experience and test our engineering, design and manufacturing expertise. Our attitude is that anything is possible until it's proven to be impossible. So, we'll work with you to find the right solution to any given project, no matter how difficult it may appear.
The flexibility and experience of our CAD design team and manufacturing facility allows us to design and produce‘specials' almost as quickly as standard items; whether it's an unusually large gate (our biggest so far is 5m high and 34m wide), or adding ultra-high security devices to our fence designs to protect against a specific range of threats.
The examples shown below represent a small selection of challenging assignments that others have shied away from while we have risen to. In most cases the projects stretched the boundaries of conventional engineering wisdom or demonstrate a dogged determination to see a project through to completion the right way, rather than compromising. This drive to find solutions to problems means that the simplest projects will be managed quickly and efficiently and that whatever the nature of your enquiry, we're always prepared to listen and apply ourselves.
Project: Jakoustic Barrier, UK
Jakoustic barrier at 5.0m high with galvanized steel 'I' beam posts secure a heavy plant distribution centre.
Project: Prison, St Vincent, Caribbean
5.2m high, Securi-Mesh welded mesh system on special Lattice Posts with 'Y' shaped post top extensions for concertina barbed tape.
The hot dip galvanized Lattice Posts were designed for their strength and structural integrity in exposed sites subject to high wind loading.
Project : English Heritage property, UK
Galvanized Barbican Barbed Top protecting the building and grounds of an historic house while renovations were under way.
Project : Private Client residence, UK
Galvanized and specially coated Barbican Defender fencing securing the perimeter boundary of the home of a high profile, international sports personality. The site was a steep and undulating granite headland surrounded by ocean on three sides with restricted access and the requirement for the installation team to abseil down rock faces to reach parts of the fenceline.

Measuring over 4.0m high by 13.2 long and weighing-in at over 5.0tonnes, this Jakoustic Plus absorptive tracked sliding gate is probably the largest of its type in the world.
