Perimeter Security in a Changing World
The current themes dominating global security of terrorism and the threat of intrusion have left many areas previously thought of as “safe”, vulnerable to threat.
In response, there has been a huge investment in CCTV and high technology electronic security systems; but it seems that the subject of physical perimeter security has been largely neglected.
It’s not entirely surprising when in the main, most fencing manufacturers have done little to upgrade the design and performance of their products to address the changing nature of threats and the need to protect people and assets in equal measure.
That’s why some 18 months ago, we embarked on a development programme with the aim of becoming the first company in physical perimeter security to be able to offer a totally integrated solution; effectively a one-stop-shop covering perimeter fencing and gates to intrusion deterrent and detection systems, to specialised high-security and anti-terrorist products.
Today, we take pride in our ability to meet the needs of a wide and diverse range of applications from RoSPA approved play fencing to acoustic barriers offering high levels of security to some of the most advanced perimeter protection and detection systems.
As with everything we do, quality, safety, performance and value are paramount not only in the products we manufacture and offer but in the installation and support services behind them.
We are often asked why we don’t manufacture and sell triple-point palisade fencing?. Our in-house trials have proven that it simply isn’t secure enough in most of the applications for which it is specified and for the same reason, it’s why all of our security fencing and gates feature anti-climb design, welded pale through rail construction and concealed anti-vandal fixings.
Our research and development into finding new and better ways of doing things, bringing innovative products to market and flexing around specific requirements has allowed us to provide Customers the world over with solutions on which they can depend, day in and day out.
We live in a high alert climate and litigious society where virtually nothing can be taken for granted. You can be assured that whatever the nature of the threat to the integrity of a perimeter and risks faced by its users, we will be at the forefront of finding appropriate solutions, delivered in a timely and efficient fashion.
