Pedestrian guardrails could be among the new features installed in Aberdeen over the coming few years after plans for a new business park in the city were unveiled.
Work is expected to begin on the 123-acre site, situated to the west of Kingswells park and ride, next year if the plans are given the green light.
If everything goes to plan, it is estimated that the project could be worth around £300 million per year to the local economy, reports stv.tv.
Graeme Bone, director of Drum Property Group, noted that this could be the first of its kind in the area as "Aberdeen doesn't currently have a proper business park".
He added: "What it has is a number of industrial estates which have evolved into office use over the last 30 years or so.
"There are a number of companies in Aberdeen who are currently in sub standard premises as a consequence of a lack of properly designed business land."
Elsewhere, traffic barriers could be required in Worthing after a car and minibus were sent into the air last week.
