School fencing may be among the new features of a £5 million building set to be unveiled tomorrow (September 7th).

The Atrium, situated next to North Walsham High School, will provide new facilities to help pupils learn about health, culture and business.

Finishing touches are now being put into place by electricians and other workers ahead of the new school year. The Norwich Evening News reports that the school is hoping to have an official opening in January.

Dominic James, director of The Atrium, told the news provider of his delight at the new building and how it has turned out.

"It's a landmark building for north Norfolk and a fantastic resource which North Walsham can feel proud of. It's going to give people new opportunities," he noted.

It comes as new teaching facilities are being installed in Belfast in time for the 2012 school year, including a new dining room and sports hall.
