A facility with play area fencing that has been set up for disabled children now needs a name before it officially opens in the New Year.

Developed on the site of Woolston Hub, the play area is part of Warrington Borough Council's bid to improve leisure facilities for disabled children.

Among the features will be giant soft play equipment, as well as a calm sensory space that comes complete with state-of-the art technology.

Play facilities have been provided that will physically challenge both disabled children and adults alike throughout the Warrington area.

However, a name has still not been found for the centre, so members of the public are being asked for their help.

Councillor Colin Froggatt, executive board member for children and young people's services, said: "Why not play your part and help name the new centre by getting in touch with us?"
