Tennis court fencing came into good use in Cardiff yesterday (June 27th) after four horses were guided on court after running lose in the city.
The horses ventured from their fields and were spotted early yesterday morning in the Ely Bridge and Victoria Park area.
Police were called and help guide them into tennis courts in the area before being taken back to their home nearby.
A spokesperson for Cardiff Council told BBC News that the incident was dealt with "quickly and safely" and that there was no need to close the park.
"With the help of the police, the council's parks staff were able to safely round the horses up and guide them into the tennis court area which contained them until the horse pound arrived to collect them," the spokesperson told the news provider.
Tennis court fencing was also restored in Ynysddu, Wales, earlier this month after the council gave £1,000 in funding.
