High security fencing has been deployed in Bridgnorth to seal off the area's Hermitage Caves.
The ten-foot high security fencing has been erected to stop people from trespassing on the historic site - which is on the outskirts of the Shropshire town.
Last year, one of the cave roofs collapsed, killing a teenager, reports the Shropshire Star.
Apley Estates, which owns the land that the caves are situated on, installed the high security fencing claiming that the measures were necessary as the area is a popular spot for teenagers to gather.
Just this week, Ireland's Office of Public Works (OPW) decided not to erect security fencing on the island of Skellig Michael, despite the fact a number of walkers have fallen from the cliffs to their deaths in recent times.
According to the OPW, the erection of security fencing runs counter to the organisation's conservational aims and instead, it will try and raise awareness of the dangers of cliff-top walks on Skellig Michael.
