A man is seeking permission to erect a high security fence because he feels his privacy has been invaded.
Chad Kriewaldt, who lives in Grand Chute, Wisconsin, is unhappy at the development of an access trail at the end of his back garden, according to postcrescent.com.
Mr Kriedwalt said he has suffered from trespassing and vandalism since the trail opened earlier this year, the news provider said.
He wants permission to erect eight foot tall security fencing to combat the problem.
In a letter to The Grand Chute Town Board, who will make a decision this week, Mr Kriedwalt wrote: "Since the trail has opened I have been vandalized and caught teenagers twice cutting through my front yard to get to the trail," the news source reported."
This month security bollards were erected at a park in Australia after concerns from local residents that vehicles were driving onto the site.
