Barbican® Defender Xtreme A1 projects a powerful visual statement in perimeter protection with a clear anti climb design. The security fence has cranked square bar pales which are designed to prevent intruders from climbing or scaling the fence, whichever side it is approached, and is ideal for commercial and industrial applications.

Panels
Constructed as per Barbican® panels but pales are extended 400mm and cranked 320mm from the top rail, with each point cut at 45 degrees to form a point. Pale spacing is at 129mm centres (96mm gap).

About A1 (SR1) Fencing
A1 fencing has been tested and certified to provide the minimum level of protection against opportunistic attacks after undergoing the LPS 1175 test devised by LPCB. During testing our fencing had to delay several attacks using category A tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and small knives, each lasting at least 1 minute, providing it with a rating of A1 under Issue 8, the equivalent of SR1 under Issue 7.
