Combining a 425W solar panel with our trademark Jakcure® pressure treated timber, Jaksun is a highly sustainable fencing option, harnessing the sun to produce energy. With a 25 year guarantee on the timber against rot and insect attack and a 25 year product warranty and 25 year linear power output warranty provided by the solar panel manufacturer, Jaksun solar panel fence is a great investment for the future.

JaksunTM can be installed as a standalone fence panel between slotted posts, or on top of another timber fence panel between slotted posts. Increase efficiency and performance is expected when panels are raised off the ground. In photos it is seen on top of Venetian Hit and Miss fence panels at 600mm high, a gravel board at 140mm high, and capping at 20mm high, giving a fence height of 1930mm. Other panel combinations are available but anything over two metres high will generally require planning permission. Please note, the solar fence panels cannot be cut down in any way. If the end of the run requires cutting to width, then we recommend using a full height panel to match the same as the panel installed under Jaksun.
