Youths break down security fencing in Deeside

Youths break down security fencing in Deeside
Members of the public are being warned about potential safety dangers, after youths broke down security fencing protecting a site in Deeside.

The multi-million construction project is taking place at an old RAF hangar, which has so far been partly demolished to make way for new buildings.

Sealand councillor Chris Jones explained to the Flintshire Chronicle that people could be seriously hurt now the security fencing has been breached.

He continued: "These young people need to stay away. A portable toilet on the site has been smashed and the noise is upsetting neighbours who back onto the site."

Mr Jones revealed that debris from the site is being thrown into a playground on Welsh Road, so parents need to be especially vigilant when visiting the area with their children.

National Rail was recently called upon to install high-security fencing along a dangerous stretch of track when a dog died after running on to the line, revealed the Harlow Star.
