Residents of Banbury are being asked to put forward their suggestions on a play facility in the town, which may include the use of play area fencing.

Banbury's Browning Park play area has been open for a number of years, but the local council is hoping to carry out refurbishment work early next year.

However, it has launched a consultation on the project to seek the views of people from the local area, who have until November 25th to make their input.

Tina Wren, councillor for Easington, told the Banbury Guardian: "The town council works hard to keep all play areas up-to-date, and I hope residents in the Browning Road area will respond positively to the council's request for suggestions."

Dover District Council also recently announced a consultation on play areas in the region, as some are set to be closed down while others will be renovated.
