Pedestrian guardrails could be required in Northern Ireland after it was announced that a new shop will be opening in Co Down.
The Original Factory Shop will be opening a £250,000 new store in Warrenpoint which opens next month, replacing what used to be the Freshfields site in Newry Road.
Inside Ireland reports that the company already has 170 sites across the UK, each stocking products originally from high street retailers but now sold at a lower price.
Mark Dodington, acquisitions manager of The Original Factory Shop, told the news provider that the local area is excited about the new opening.
"There already seems to be a real buzz around town about us opening. The feeling is that our blend of great value and unbeatable prices will make us a firm favourite with local and visiting shoppers alike," he said.
As of last year, the company employed more than 2,000 people across the UK.
