Margaret Mills, who lives in Brucehill, Lennox, claims youngsters have been vandalising her garden, but she said the council will not put up new fencing, saying the one already there is adequate.
The 65-year-old told the Lennox Herald she had been having trouble for about ten years.
"I have only got a wee wire fence which they can easily get over," she told the newspaper.
An attempt to plant bushes to prevent them gaining access a few years ago proved fruitless as they were burnt down.
The council said: "Each request for fencing is considered by the council on health and safety grounds or where there is no defined defensible space for garden ground and where necessary repairs are carried out."
A council officer had visited Mrs Mills' home to look at the area and decided the fence in place was in good condition and sufficient.
Recently, a mum in Cumbria said the installation of metal gates at an alley near her home in order to keep out yobs made her feel as if "a weight had been lifted".
