Height security barriers may be installed at a popular caravan park in Northern Ireland to stop people crowding the site by parking on it.
The park, at Lansdowne Crescent in Portrush, is regularly used by camper van owners, the Coleraine Times reports.
This is despite a one-hour waiting time limit between 21:00 and 09:00 being imposed at the site.
However, the Department for Regional Development (DRD) wants to erect a height security barrier to stop vans coming into the park.
Reaction to the plan has been mixed.
Democratic Unionist Party councillor Sandy Gilkinson told the newspaper: "These vans take up the whole area.
"They bring nothing to the town, they just want somewhere to park. I think the barrier is a good idea."
Mayor Norman Hillis added: "This is a car park not a campsite."
But some councillors criticised the proposal, saying proper policing should be employed instead.
After a vote, options to combat the problem will now be reconsidered.
