The bollards are part of a range of planned improvements for the "vandal-hit" Pollard Park, the Telegraph & Argus reports.
Plans for green spaces, children's play areas, the removal of unsightly asphalt and path re-alignment, have also been put forward.
The security bollards will be used to prevent access to quad and motor bike users racing through the estate.
Regeneration company Places for People has applied to Bradford Council for permission for the measures.
Councillor Mohammed Jamil told the newspaper: "Anything that improves the area is positive and we always support initiatives that benefit the area. I really support it. There's a need for improvement."
Recently, metal gates were installed near houses in Cumbria that had been plagued by vandals.
According to the Times & Star, the vandals had been regularly meeting up in an alley in Maryport for years.
