A man has said he will consider moving out of his rented flat unless crash barriers are installed to prevent further incidents.
Last week, a Toyota Corolla crashed through the wall and window of the 41-year-old's ground floor flat in Rochdale, the Manchester Evening News reports.
The man, who wasn't seriously injured, was sleeping at the back of the property.
A similar crash happened in February this year.
The tenant told the newspaper that if he had been in the front room he could have been seriously hurt.
"I'm seriously considering moving house unless they can put some kind of safety barrier up," he told the newspaper.
Justin Brine, property manager at building owner Bamford Development, echoed the man's comments.
"The council need to put some bollards on that area of road," he told the newspaper.
Last month, a family in Winchester called for the installation of crash barriers and security bollards after a double-decker bus crashed into a historic 200-year-old wall at their home.
