Boundary security fencing, metal gates and pedestrian entrances at Darlaston Park are all set to be improved as part of a five-year regeneration project, the Walsall Advertiser reports.
Suggestions for the enhancements were put forward by the police and residents.
The police have been calling for more measures to curb anti-social behaviour at the park, the newspaper said.
Now 1.8 metre security fencing and steel gates will be installed along the boundary of the park.
Councillor Paul Bott told the newspaper: "The fencing will make a big improvement to anti-social behaviour and other work will make it more attractive."
Recently, it was reported that security fencing will be put up around flats in Ellesmere Port to curb anti-social behaviour.
The Ellesmere Port Pioneer reported that gangs of youths have been gathering on residents' lawns.
