Sliding gates and play equipment have been unveiled in Bradford after construction work was recently completed.
Councillor Naveeda Ikram, the Lord Mayor, was on hand to help open the play area in Nurser Place, Canterbury, featuring an array of pieces to play for children under the age of five years.
Furthermore, the site features a new climbing frame, swings, springers and a balancing tail, reports The Telegraph and Argus.
Talking to the news provider about its opening, Ms Ikram that she is delighted to be unveiling the new playground and hopes families will get full enjoyment out of it.
"We hope the children will have lots of fun in their new play area and that it will provide a great asset now and well into the future," she said.
Play area fencing could also be needed in Marske after vandalism took place at Mount Pleasant Avenue ahead of the summer holidays.
