Jacksons Fencing is certified or awarded a membership by many organisations and awarding bodies after being subject to independent auditing and testing processes. Our accreditations range from commitment to providing high quality timber that has been correctly pressure treated for its intended purpose, installers with the highest levels of health and safety competence, or our dedication to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements, resulting in our ISO 9001 certification, without which, many other accreditations cannot be achieved. In addition to the investments we make in achieving certifications, we also go through thorough investments in our products which are rigorously tested to various standards. Look out for logos or mentions on product pages regarding the following: LPCB LPS 1175, CPNI, PAS 68, and CE marking. Additionally, British Standards are also an integral part of all our processes.
Safe Contractor
We are accredited by Safe Contractor, a national accreditation scheme that assesses the health and safety competency of contractors and service providers.
ISO 9001:2015
ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system. In 2018, we completed our transition to the most up-to-date version of the international quality management standard ISO 9001:2015 with certified accreditation from BRE Global, a UKAS accredited certification body. The standard is used to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements and only companies that have secured ISO 9001 are eligible to have items Security Rated by the LPCB.
Secured by Design
Secured by Design is a UK Police initiative dedicated to reducing crime through good design of physical security and processes that also relieve pressures on police forces. ConstructionLine
Owned and endorsed by the Department of Trade & Industry, Constructionline is the UK's register of pre-qualified local and national construction and construction related suppliers. Jacksons Fencing is certified.
Akzo Nobel
We are certified as one of only five Akzo Nobel approved Architectural Applicators of Interpon D Products on Galvanised Steel Substrates Conforming to BS EN13438:2005.
Cyber Essentials
Jacksons is a Cyber Essentials certified company. Cyber Essentials is a government-backed and industry supported scheme that helps businesses protect themselves against the growing threat of common cyber attacks. Gaining certification enables organisations to showcase their credentials as trustworthy and secure when it comes to cyber security, protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data stored on devices that connect to the internet.
CHAS
We are certified under CHAS, a scheme developed by local authority health and safety and procurement professionals, with the support of the Health and Safety Executive for use by any public and private sector organisations when shortlisting contractors. Companies accredited within the scheme meet acceptable standards of health and safety compliance.
PSSA
The PSSA is the trade association for companies involved in the supply and installation of products designed to provide high levels of physical protection and intruder detection for sites and their external perimeters in all circumstances where terrorist or criminal attack is a perceived risk.
National Highway Sector Schemes
Jacksons are NHSS certified in the design, manufacture, supply and control of installation of timber and steel fencing, gates and security barriers, to commercial trade and domestic customers, in accordance with the requirements of National Highways Sector Scheme 2C and 4.
CSCS
CSCS was established in 1995 with the objective of helping the construction industry to get quality up, accidents down and cowboy builders out. In May 2007 it presented the millionth CSCS card signifying one millionth person to have formally proved their competency and their awareness of health and safety. All our installers are CSCS certified. Jacksons Fencing is a member (awarded gold standard).
DHF
DHF is the ‘go to’ place for technical advice and training which lends itself to raising the standards of the industry. We are a DHF member, with all of our gate engineers trained to a minimum of level 2.
Supply Chain Sustainability School
We have achieved a Gold award from the Supply Chain Sustainability School as the team have completed multiple learning modules and pathways to improve our understanding and compliance with sustainability goals.
WPA
We are a member of the British Wood Protection Association, which has a mission to achieve and promote clear understanding and leadership in the field of enhancing the durability and performance of wood and wood based panel products.
FSC®
The Forest Stewardship Council® promotes the responsible management of the world’s forests, bringing together experts from the environmental, economic and social spheres. The majority of our timber product range can be offered certified under this scheme.
PEFC
The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification works to protect forests by promoting sustainable forest management through certification. The majority of our timber product range can be offered certified under this scheme.
