To overcome the complexity of the curve and slope, precise levels were taken before manufacture, ensuring the client was happy with the projected finish upon installation. The fencing was stepped to suit the ground by Jacksons’ expert installation team, keeping gaps to a minimum and maintaining a consistent height. Around the road bend, a series of half bays were used to follow the curve smoothly, creating a consistent finish.

The black Barbican® galvanised steel railings offered the perfect blend of strength and visual appeal, backed by a 25 year service life guarantee for long term security and peace of mind. Unlike harsher or unsightly security options such as mesh fencing and barbed wire or steel palisade fencing, the system blends into an industrial setting while still portraying premium service and protection. The fencing enhances the site’s appearance while also making it safer for customers parking inside the boundary, providing reassurance and reinforcing the professionalism of the facility.

Galvanised Steel Gates

The fencing was complemented with gates that matched both in style and strength. Three double leaf Barbican® gates were specified to suit the site’s operational needs, including two 5m wide entrances and one 10m wide entrance. Each gate was designed to open to the required angles to suit the layout of the facility: two 5m wide gates open outwards 180° to allow easy vehicle access, while the 10m wide gate features a left-hand leaf opening out 180° and a right-hand leaf opening in 90°, providing maximum flexibility within the site’s space constraints.

Like the fencing, the gates feature tamper-proof hinges and are finished with padlockable drop bolts and slide latches, offering flexibility for the business while keeping control of site access simple and secure. By sharing the same pale-through-rail design as the railings, the gates created a consistent appearance across the entire perimeter.
