Each year, RIBA host a series of CPD Provider Network Roadshows across the UK which are free to attend and provide professionals with the opportunity to attend multiple RIBA-approved sessions and gain CPD points in one day. The roadshows provide a unique opportunity for architects and other construction industry professionals to gain up-to-date knowledge on a range of innovative products and technologies, and enhance personal proficiency in a wide range of subjects.

Understandably, due to the current situation and government and industry advice, some of the scheduled events of the year had been postponed until further notice and it has now been confirmed that a digital version of the roadshows will be happening on the 30th June and 1st July 2020.

We are excited to announce that we will be participating in the event as planned, as one of ten carefully selected CPD providers. On Wednesday 1st at 1:45-2:45pm, Stuart Glen, National Sales and Business Development Manager, will be presenting an educational seminar on perimeter security which is not to be missed.

Newly updated this year, the seminar will cover:

  • Perimeter security design and installation - specifically fencing, gates and vehicle barriers
  • The standards applied to evaluate the performance of perimeter security products
  • How materials and their treatment affect the resilience and lifetime performance of perimeter security products
  • The range of products available
  • The importance of inspection and the vital role scheduled maintenance and repair plays in the integrity of perimeter security products
  • Why attend?
