New security bollards could be required in Burton after a bus crashed into one in the town's high street.
The vehicle followed another bus into the pedestrian zone on the high street but the driver forgot that it needed to stop, therefore running over the bollard.
Council officials may now need to invest in a new bollard to ensure that the area remains free of unauthorised vehicles, reports the Burton Mail.
Local solicitor Tony Smith said that the introduction of the bollard caused a stir to begin with, leading to him installing a webcam that focussed on it.
"The bollard has caused quite a controversy with motorists attempting to drive along the High Street," he told the news provider.
"Having an office in an ideal location presented us with an opportunity to allow the public to view a live feed of the bollard."
It comes after a Henley resident paid £2,000 for security bollards to be installed out of his home after people parked on the pavement.
