Play area fencing may well be installed in Lincolnshire in the near future following news that an indoor facility will be created.
Around £1 million will be spent on constructing the new indoor playground at Belton House in the Grantham area, while an outdoor play area at the attraction will be refurbished.
BBC News reports that the new indoor play area is part of a £6.5 million spend on Belton House over the next few years.
Alec Gordon, the Trust's general manager in Lincolnshire, told the news provider that "generations" have used the outdoor facility.
He added: "It really is a fundamental part of what Belton has to offer families.
"From next year we'll be open 364 days a year and we have to consider that important segment of our visitors, the families, that come here to use Belton and we've got very little to offer them when it rains."
Play area fencing may also be used in Leeds after Roundhay and Kirkstall's neighbourhoods received funding for playground upgrades.
