A park in Leamington has recently undergone renovation work, which has led to the installation of metal railings.

Lottery funding was made available for the scheme that has benefited The Dell in Beauchamp Hill - widely considered to be one of the town's most attractive open spaces.

Other features include two large picnic tables, a play tower, see-saw and frog rocker.

Approximately £50,000 was donated to the Friends of the Dell to pay for the work, which also includes new signage and handrails, reports the Warwick Courier.

It is expected that the renovations will be completed by December 1st.

Meanwhile, Dover District Council has launched a consultation on how money will be distributed for play services over the next ten years, with some sites to receive investment and others to be closed.

Locations in Northbourne Avenue and Sheridan Road in Dover have so far been earmarked to receive some of the available funding.
