The men were arrested on Monday (May 2nd) by police officers from Cumbria Constabulary and later released without charge.
According to the BBC, the men had been taking photographs. The arrests were made just hours after news broke that Osama bin Laden had been killed in Pakistan by US special forces.
But talking to the North West Evening Mail about the incident, workers said the site had excellent security and felt safe.
One employee said the security was "immense".
"It (the incident) does not bother me in the slightest. There are so many chicanes and barriers at the site you can't just turn up and get in."
